Through the dedicated option, you can choose to recover orders and carts of all the users, and therefore send automatic emails, or only those who have a specific user role.
Save and recover carts of guest users
By enabling the option “Recover carts of guest users”, when the user fills in the checkout fields but doesn't complete the order, the contact info inserted will be saved and used to send the automatic email to recover the order. For full transparency, you can also choose to show a checkbox to ask for user's consent to the use of personal data to send promotional emails only to users who checked the option.

You will only need to enable them by clicking the yes/no option and the plugin will be ready to be used and will send emails to the first users who will abandon their cart or won't complete the payment of an order on your shop. You can customize and edit the templates as you prefer or create new ones.

The plugin has two default emails, one to recover abandoned carts and one to recover unpaid orders. Yet, you can create unlimited emails with different content and automatic sending times to build a powerful strategy to retrieve customers. For example, you can offer a 5% discount in the first email, sent after 24 hours, a 10% discount in the second email sent after 48 hours, and include a convincing text in the last email using scarcity and urgency principles ("Last chance to use the coupon code...").

A discount coupon is a good way to have users coming back to your shop and encourage them to purchase items they were interested in. You only need three clicks to insert the coupon to the email, choose to offer a fixed or percentage discount and define the expiration. You can create unlimited coupons with a different value for each email and choose a code to spot the coupons sent through our plugin emails (in our live demo, for example, we use the acronym "RAC").

Is it possible to show a popup on Exit Intent on the checkout page? So when someone wants to leave the checkout page, a popup appears asking them to save their cart and/or sending them an email with the cart?
Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment.
At what stage does the abandoned cart feature get triggered? Can it send emails to customers before they go through the checkout stage or does it only send emails to customers with "Pending payment" status?
The plugin feature triggers when users abandon the checkout page before completing it and only if they have already added their email address. You can find the settings of the email sending in this section of the documentation. Moreover, you can manage the email sending also for pending orders as described here.
Is the plugin really GDPR compliant? We need explicit and voluntary consent from the customer, that we are allowed to set a cookie, store his cart content and contact him via email.

Do customers automatically receive a coupon every time they leave a product in the cart? Would it be possible to limit to one coupon per customer regardless of how many times an item is left in the cart? Otherwise, the customer could try each time to leave the item in their cart in the hope of receiving coupon codes
You can decide when the coupon will be sent. Most of our clients configure two or three emails including the coupon only in the last one. You can also choose to not send any coupon at all. Anyway, at the moment there's no feature to set a coupon per customer, I am sorry.
Does this plugin show the abandoned items in the email that is sent to customers?
Yes, the email received by the users shows the content of the cart they have abandoned.
If I set up 4 emails to send one day after the other, will the automatic emails be canceled if the customer recovers their cart after the first or second email?
Yes, if the customer recovers the cart, the following scheduled emails will be cancelled.
How can a customer stop the abandoned cart emails?
The administrator can add the unsubscribe link in the content of the email template. You can read more about it here.
Can you limit which user roles receive abandoned cart emails? We would like to send to most users and visitors but not to our wholesale customers.
Yes, the plugin allows limiting the feature to specific users by selecting one or more WordPress roles with the Enable for these roles option, you can check the settings here.
Is it possible to export all Emails, Names and phone numbers of Abandoned cart visitors into a CSV file?
No, unfortunately this is not possible at the moment.
Does this plugin work with cancelled orders or orders that failed?
No, the plugin only works with pending orders.
