General Technical Features

If you are not familiar with writing code don’t worry, Di’verso is provided with a handy administration panel developed to manage the configuration of every single element.

Setting Up Logo and Drop Down Menu Color

Setting up logo and color of drop down menu is a breeze with our Administration panel (accessible through Appearance > Theme Options). It allows to load it in a simple and intuitive way, with a simple click of the mouse.

Drag & Drop Menu

The theme has menus compatible with the Drag & Drop system introduced by the version 3.0 of WordPress. To create the main navigation menu all you have to do is simply drag the items within the established area. Let’s not forget to mention that you can assign icons to the pages in your menu. Available Icons are: home, folder, bookmark, burst, calendar, email, bag, diap, pen, people.

Home Page

To create a home page inside Di’verso theme you need to create new page and assign “Home” template from Page Attributes panel. Next, you can add the slogan title and subtitle for this page (if you want to show it).

Home page can be configured in several ways. You can set the page using:

1. Page content: The content you enter in the editor of your home page. Here you can add text and images. You can also use a left or a right sidebar.
2. Home Row content: Is an additional row (sidebar) where you can put widgets.
3. Testimonials slider: Slider with the latest testimonials.
4. Twitter slider: Slider showing your the latest tweets.

Home Row

Home row is a preset sidebar that can be found in Appearance > Widgets. Using this sidebar you can easily add widgets to display on your home page.

You can see home row in action on the image below as a 3 text columns.

Twitter Slider

You can add Twitter slider just above footer. Twitter options can be configured from our Administration panel (Theme Options > General > Twitter Section), where you can set up your twitter user name, how many tweets to be displayed, delay between the slides etc.

Footer

To complete our work we have to add and configure footer. From the Administration panel you can choose number of columns for the main footer section, style of copyright section (Two columns or Centered footer) and add what will be displayed in copyright section.

You will add content to main footer using our handy preset sidebar Footer Row, which can be found in Appearance > Widgets. So below is the example of the footer with 4 columns in main footer section and two columns copyright section.

As you can see we have created a beautiful, completely customized home page without any coding knowledge.

Blog Page

Blog page has simple and elegant style, and can be configure through Administration Page (Theme Options > General > Blog Settings). Here you can choose to set:

1. Style for the feature image on your blog: big or small image.
2. Select which categories you want to hide from the blog and from the almost categories widget in the blog’s sidebar.
3. Customize text for “read more” button.

Post template support the nested comments and it has a sidebar ready to house a widget on the left or right side.

Testimonials Page

We have created shortcode for creating Testimonials page where you can display all nice things your costumers say about you.

In addition to this page we have also created preset sidebar (testimonial) where you can add widgets to show ie latest post from your blog.

There’s also page template for Archive page and shortcode for creating FAQ page.

Three Layouts for Any Page

You can apply three different layouts to any page: full screen layout without sidebars, or you can choose to have sidebar on the left or on the right side.

Widget Ready Sidebars

Di’verso is of course widget ready theme. Five custom widgets are provided within the theme:

• Text with images: to show a section with image and text in your sidebar;
• Icon widget: to show a text with an icon
• Testimonials: a slider with latest testimonials;
• Almost all categories to hide some categories from the blog;
• Last tweets: to display latest tweets

Theme also comes with four preset sidebars:

• Home row
• Footer row
• Blog sidebar
• Default sidebar

Localization

The theme is localized in English. Through the translation file that we have released always within the theme, you can localize it in any other language.

Support File

Along with the theme, we have released a Support File that will help you in the entire configuration process of the theme. For obvious reasons we can’t offer a customized support, it would impossible for us to keep up with all the requests without affecting our daily working hours considering how many you are and that the theme we’re releasing it for the download also on the official site of WordPress.

Let’s say you want to add sections to your home page like on the image below.

Here’s our handy Home Page Composer (under Theme Options > Home) to the rescue. Here you can choose which elements to be visible and order of the elements. To add Sections, we will first have to make them visible in Composer.

Then we will create Sections by adding new Sections from Homepage Sections. Here you can add title, subtitle and content for each section.

Tabs under Services and Testimonial slider are added using shortcodes.

50+ Custom Backgrounds and Unlimited Background Colors

From the Theme Options panel > Colors you can choose from 50+ custom backgrounds and assign any color to any element of the theme by using color picker. All you have to do is select the desired color with a simple click of the mouse.

Typography

There’s over 200 fonts available in this theme. Using Typography tab from Theme Options you can control which fonts will be used for titles, navigation and paragraphs.

With a single mouse click you can set the size of headings and paragraphs.

Unlimited Sidebars

You can create unlimited sidebars, which can be used on any page of the theme, and you can manage them through Theme Options panel.

Portfolio

If you are freelancer or agency that want to present work quickly and with style, we have a solution for that! You can create Portfolio page and choose from couple of different layouts to present your work like:

Thumbnails of the project are viewable with the lightbox.

Gallery

You need a photo gallery? There’s a page for that! Gallery page is made by custom post types and is very easy to set, allowing you to create beautiful gallery page. And yes gallery can be filterable too!

Thumbnails of your photos will be opened with an elegant light box effect.

Unlimited Contact Forms

Within this theme you can create and manage unlimited contact forms through Theme Options panel with few mouse clicks. The form is provided with its own validation error system.

Shortcodes and Custom Widgets

Di’verso premium version is packed with over 100 shortcodes.
