20 years of love for WordPress

Can you guess how much can happen in 20 years? A lot! There are countless historical moments, technological breakthroughs, fashion trends, global conflicts, natural disasters, births, deaths, and everything in between, so much can change in just two decades. 

Looking at our own changes, at YITH, over the course of 20 years, we’ve grown into a big family with nearly 50 members located in Spain, Italy, and Argentina. Throughout our journey, WordPress has always been there for us, in each of our setbacks and achievements. 

This month we’re celebrating the 20th anniversary of WordPress and we couldn’t be more thrilled! We’ve been there from the beginning – seen it all – the ups and downs, the changes, and the growth. It’s been an honor to be part of this beautiful journey. 

As a team at YITH, we have witnessed firsthand how WordPress has influenced our company. However, we believe it would be more meaningful if we share what it has meant to us personally as members of this wonderful family.

As a developer, WordPress is my daily bread and butter. Anyway, if I look back at where I started, there is no doubt that all over these years, WordPress’s also been a constant source of inspiration, an encouragement for improvement: after all, we all know, Code is Poetry!
