Can you configure the Product Countdown to count down to the beginning of the sale date and then have it count down to the end of the sale?

Yes, the plugin allows setting a start and end date, so, you will have a countdown to the beginning of the sale and one to the end of the sale.

Is it possible to display the countdown bar on another page besides the ones available in the options?

Yes, it is possible if you use the shortcode, you can find more info about it here.

Is it possible to simply reset the countdowns? I want my products on sale for one hour. After that hour it has to disappear for an hour and then start a new one-hour countdown.

Unfortunately, this is not possible.

Does it work for custom product type ? Or affiliate/external products?

No, it only works with Simple and Variable products.

Can I make the Countdown dates automatically be the same as the native sale dates in WooCommerce? Right now I have to set them both manually. I set the WooCommerce sale dates and then set the countdown timer dates.

Unfortunately, there is not the possibility to set them automatically. The plugin purpose is not necessarily connected to the “on-sale dates” since you can set the countdown also to make a product available for a certain number of days, regardless of the fact that it is on sale or not.
