HOW TO IMPROVE COMMUNICATIVE AND NEGOTIATIVE SIDE OF YOUR E-COMMERCE PLATFORM

YITH WooCommerce Request a Quote has been explicitly conceived to grant a meeting point between customers and suppliers, going beyond traditional and sometimes restrictive e-commerce platforms where only price can be shown for a single product and no possibilities to deal with many products at the same time are conceived. One of the main obstacles of online shopping, that is, communication with potential customers and negotiation, might be solved thanks to forms for quote requests.

This plugin offers customers the possibility to add items to a list and then submit it to the site administrator to get a quote for them. At the same time administrators who receive requests for quotes can get an idea of the degree of appreciation for their products and make ad hoc offers according to customers’ requests.

To grant you this, main features of the plugin are the possibility to display an “Add to Quote” button or link in product page that adds the item to the list for products to be quoted. It is also possible to hide, if necessary, “Add to cart” button to encourage customers to get in touch with suppliers, and the creation of a list where all products can be collected and that can be submitted to the shop owner: it is right here that the very negotiation occurs.

    Buy a plugin and if you're not satisfied TOO BAD.The service you'll receive with YITH is that of a correctional officer. I made a mistake and purchased the wrong plugin for $135.00. Once I noticed I immediately tried to contact YITH support to let them know, but with chat being non-existent during the day I did not get a response. I went ahead and purchased the right plugin for $150.00, as I figured YITH would understand and process a refund. Instead, I was contacted by Guiseppe to say that they will not process a refund for the plugin purchased by mistake. In addition, he did not address my ticket with concerns about the functionality of the plugin I intended to purchase. Unfortunately, this is the second YITH has profited off of simple errors from customers. I will fight the charges on our card every step of the way.
    I do hope that YITH will change their ways and profit off of actual plugins instead of policy tricks.

      we are sorry to read that you are not satisfied with our customer service, even though this has nothing to do with our Request a Quote plugin and we are sorry that you didn't find us online, you must have written during a time that is night for us (we are online Monday to Saturday, 8am to 16:30pm GMT+0).
      About the first order that you placed last year for Deposits and Down Payments plugin, as our support manager explained, the problem was not giving a refund for a wrong purchase, as we always grant them if users contact us before (or immediately after) downloading the product.
      It was not possible because there was a bank dispute open from your side that locked the order automatically and until the dispute was open we couldn't proceed in no way.
      For the second order (the one with which you bought our Compare plugin instead of Request a Quote), it is impossible to us to give a full refund for a plugin that you have downloaded more than once but we were glad to offer you a coupon for the same amount to get any other product from our store.

    Hi, Wayne! I am afraid it is not possible, I am sorry. You can only add a menu item with the link to the request a quote page or, as an alternative, use the mini quote widget and hide the drop-down menu.

And if you want to add specific fields that the user can fill before sending a request, the plugin allows you to use either Contact Form 7 or Gravity Form.     A shortcode of the button exists, but it can be used only inside the loop or in the page of single products.

    You can create a button and use a link like this:

    2. there's any check on affiliate product, i suggest to redirect the quote to a custom thank you page after that the quote is accepted.

    Here you have the answers:

    1. Yes, users send a request, which appears in the Order list on WooCommerce, then the admin makes the price and sends it to the user; the user gets an email with two buttons, ACCEPT and REJECT. If he accepts, he will be taken to the cart (with the agreed price) and will be able to checkout. You can try our Live Demo and also the documentation to see better how it works.
    2. Yes, there's both in the default form and in Contact Form7

    3. I'm afraid at this moment is not possible with Request a Quote.

    No, I'm sorry the price is only the regular price of the products.

    The plugin is not compatible with the discounts plugin because these plugins work with the cart and request a quote is only a list of products.

For the correct settings and details about Contact Form 7 and the other contact forms compatible with the plugin, you can refer to the official documentation. In addition to the Contact Form 7, you can use the default form, Gravity Form and YIT Form (a plugin integrated into YITH themes).

    Unfortunately this is not possible at the moment, the plugin only offers one quote. The email can be send to each manufacturer (from email settings), but only the administrator can send the quote. It might be added in the future, however it´s not a priority.

    However the two are not integrated, after the purchase you can request an integration with the developer, but this is not a guerentee.

    it is not possible if you are using only YITH WooCommerce Request a Quote, but if you combine also our Catalog Mode plugin, you will be able to hide the price and the add-to-cart button on selected products, categories and tags!

Unfortunately, the plugin can't be integrated with our YITH WooCommerce Request a Quote since the composite products plugins mainly work with the cart functionalities whereas the quote plugin applies actions on a list. Moreover, if we add integrations with other plugins, when possible, we make them available for all our users without any additional cost.

    Hi Theideabulb! YITH WooCommerce Request a Quote, used in combination with our YITH WooCommerce Multi Vendor plugin (https://yithemes.com/themes/plugins/yith-woocommerce-multi-vendor/) allows the users to request the quote for one or more products of the shop. The quote request will be forwarded to the owner of the product (vendor). The shop administrator will receive the request only for products not related to any vendor. Every new request will be available in "Orders" section, both vendor side and administrator side.
