Booking duration

Set the booking duration and if users can book months, days, hours, or minutes

Booking needs change based on the service or product; you can choose to accept only weekly or monthly bookings for apartments and, at the same time, hourly bookings for a counseling service, a therapist, or your personal training session. When creating a booking product, you can define the type of booking and customize the duration, price, maximum number of bookings accepted, and so on. You can accept bookings automatically or set them with the “pending” status and approve them manually. Additionally, you can decide whether to let the user cancel the booking or not.

Set the price for the product or service offered as booking

For each Booking product, you can choose the price that users will have to pay per hour/day/month. You can set a fixed price (e.g. €100 for an apartment) or multiply the cost per person (e.g. €100 for each person staying in the apartment). You can offer last-minute discounts and add unlimited custom prices (cleaning fee, tax, commissions, additional services, etc.).

    Almost a great pluginGreat product that is ruined by double-booking resources. In our use-case we need to have several resources that are shared between several products, but despite numerous support tickets to YITH, the plugin still persists in double or triple booking resources which causes a major problem.

    Integration with POS and Deposit payment will transform this plugin to MUST HAVE!I was using the Woo Booking plugin before. It is very slow and not well-supported.

    YITH has done a 5-star booking plugin, and the support is excellent. Why did I put 4 stars only?

    If you are running a barber, hair shop, etc...

    The integration with POS (Point of Sales) is missing. No synchronization exists between a client booking online and when the client comes into the shop. You have to do it manually or double accounting.

    It's worse if you integrate deposit payment online!

    To Biz and dev team: If you integrate Booking + POS + Deposit Payment, you will have the best plugin pack in the world.

    There are hundreds of thousands of shops as potential customers.

What happens if a user books a range of days, some of which have been already booked by someone else?

In this case, the booking won't be created since all the days/dates included in the selected range must be available and consecutive. This is valid both for bookings created by users on the frontend and those manually created by the admin.

Is there any currency switcher support?

Yes, the plugin supports both our YITH Multi Currency Switcher plugin and WPML currency switcher as well.

Is it possible to show the booking form of a product on any page (not just the product page)?

Yes, this is possible, if you use the "Booking form" Gutenberg block. You can read more about this here.

Is it possible to independently show an availability calendar visible on the page without clicking to open it?

Yes, the plugin has an option that allows you to choose between showing the calendar as a dropdown or for it to be embedded. You can manage this from YITH > Booking > Settings > “Customizations”, in the “Calendar style” options, as you can read here.

Does the plugin handle variations?

No, the plugin does not support variations because a bookable product is a different type of product. Therefore they cannot be both bookable and variable.
Yet, being this a wide plugin, you will have different alternatives to the use of standard variations. For example you have a different availability for 2 different rooms (Standard and Suite), you need to create 2 different bookable products so when a user books Standard room, the Suite room will still be available.
In other cases, you can use the “Resources” and set up a specific availability for each resource that will be merged with the product availability. What's very useful is that resources can be shared among multiple products and their availability will always be correctly updated. For example, you can select the trainer in a fitness session and so on.
In other cases, you can use “Services”. By creating a bookable product for the rooms and adding services, for example, services for breakfast, lunch and dinner that can be selected by users during the booking (you can also set an additional price for them). Also, using Persons is another option if you want to have a room for 1 guest or 2 or 3 guests etc.

Is it possible to sync multiple Google Calendars with YITH Multi-Vendor?

The vendor could use the "iCal Booking Sync".

Can I allow vendors of my marketplace to create their bookings so customers can book their items?

Yes, to do so, you must use the plugin in combination with the premium version of YITH WooCommerce Multi Vendor. In this way, your vendors can create, manage and sell their own bookable products.

Can discounts be applied to bookable products?

Yes, the plugin allows setting weekly, monthly and last-minute discounts, as you can read about here.
Furthermore, it is possible to decrease (or increase) booking costs according to specific conditions either on global level, as you can see here, or for a specific product, as you can see here.

Can I synchronize my bookable products with an external platform like booking.com?

Yes, the plugin allows this kind of synchronization with external services so to prevent overbookings. You can synchronize them through ICS (iCal) calendars by setting them from the product edit page as described in this section of the documentation.

Is it possible to view the received bookings from the backend?

Yes, the plugin has a dashboard that offers you a complete overview of the bookings registered on your site. From the dashboard, you can see the calendar, check and also edit the booking details, search for a specific bookable product and view the availability. Read more about this dashboard overview here.

Is it possible to set different prices for different days of the week? For example, I want to offer ski equipment from Monday to Thursday at €X and from Friday to Sunday at €Y. And what about having different prices for children?

Yes, this is possible by creating different price rules based on a range of days, read more about it here.

Can I limit the availability of a bookable product to a fixed number of people? And is it possible to reject further bookings when the limit has been reached?

Yes, this is possible through the option Count people as separated bookings that allows counting every person as a different booking until the number of bookings per unit is reached. After reaching the value you have set, it will be no longer possible to book that product. Read more about it here.

Is it possible to synchronize bookings with my Google calendar?

Yes, you can integrate Google calendar to view all the bookings in your Google Calendar. The booking synchronization is a one-way sync (from your site to Google Calendar). You can read about the options on this page of the documentation.

Is the Booking ID and order ID the same?

No, the order ID and the booking ID are always different. This is because the order ID is assigned by WordPress when the customer completes the order. YITH Booking then creates the Booking object, which includes the booking details, with another ID always assigned by WordPress. This also helps better management of those orders that include more than one bookable product. All IDs are assigned automatically.
