    1. Hi, thank you for your message. The plugin only works with WooCommerce, so if the other websites don’t have it, you can’t compare products from other websites.

  1. Hi,
Am using the same combination, yith-theme with woocommerce. I can get the compare option. working great. But, i want to set the exact options alone should work on it. How do i manually set my exact features to compare?
    {am adding some features in tabs manually in individual products page. I want to compare these entered features too.}

hope you get my point. Please help me.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. what if i have hundreds of attributes can i set a compare attributes set?
    for example
if my website sells computers and t-shirts
    attributes will be
    colour
    size
    ram size
    processor
    etc

but how do i tell that
when customer is comparing computers alone do not show color and size
its ok if a customer wants to compare a computer and a t-shirt

  3. Hi!
First of all thank you very much for your plugin.

I’d like to know how can I change the widget’s compare from button to link, OR how can I make the button smaller.

    thank you!

    1. Hi Sami,
You can change the button adding some custom style to your theme :)

      Have a nice day

  4. Hii!!
I just install your plugin. It looking cool.
But when i click on the compare button .. Its redirect on same page. Mean no pop up appears.
Hope .. You get my issue. Please help me out.

    Thanks in advance :)

  5. It’s great. But the problem is, the Product Description tab shows post excerpt. I have already wrote handful of posts with no post excerpt. My post excerpt is the main product itself.
How do I show the main post content in Description? (means it’ll pull data from product content itself. Not excerpt)
    THanks! Otherwise, working great!

    1. Hi,
I’m sorry but you should contact a developer to make this customization :(

    1. Hi,

I’m sorry, but you can’t add custom woocommerce products fields. Try to contact a developer to add this customization.

    1. Hello N122,

Unfortunately is not possible to make the compare plugin compatible with ACF, the plugin works only with the product attributes.

    1. Hi Tung Du,

Glad you are happy with the plugin, unfortunately at this time the plugin support only these fields: image, title, price. This mean that until you put your hands on code there is no way to add extra fields on compare table. I can’t help you with custom code but in a future release may be that we will add ability to pass extra fields to the list.

      I’m sorry.

  6. Great plugin but it’s not compatibile with wp4, I’m affraid. I’ve just added net topic in support section about that… :

When clicking compare button it appears a lightbox but the fields to show are empty or no product information displayed. “Fields to show” on backend are all checked, but I see other several more unknown tick box unchecked. Whys that?

It happened after I unchecked some tick in Firlds to show section…

    Please help.

  7. On a mobile version , when I press the compare button , it doesnt respond and just keeps on spinning ? Is it my theme or this plugin is not compatible with mobile ?

    1. Hi Icaro!
You can also sort products in comparison table by category and you can also limit plugin features only to specific product categories, that is you can let your customers compare only products belonging to specific categories.

    1. Hi!
Popup has to appear both in the free and premium version of the plugin. For any technical problem you can contact our developers in support desk and they will be happy to help you! :)

  8. The plugin is working, but it’s showing the “Short Product Description” instead of the “Full Product Description”. How do I get it to display all the information?

    1. Getting a little deeper…

The “Fields to Show” in your Table Settings includes only the various different Attributes. I have no way to customize those on a product-by-product basis. If there’s some way of adding a woocommerce “custom field” to your Table Settings, I could copy the material I could create appropriate fields and copy the requisite text as part of each individual Product.

I hope that clarifies the question.

    2. Hi!
for what concerns the first part of your question, showing product short description instead of full description, this is an option not available in the plugin for the moment, but we could consider including it in a future update.

For what concerns the second part of your question, this depends on the fact that you are using the free version of the plugin. Yet, do not worry, if you want to show only attributes of the products you are comparing (and not all attributes regardless of the ones selected), you can find this option already available in the premium version of the plugin. :)

    3. The problem is, I need to show particular text blocks. I already have the “short description” up as part of my front page. The whole idea is to let people compare products in order to get _more_ information in a side-by-side format.

If you’re looking for another feature (STRONGLY requested) it would be a quick shift to allow me to Compare custom “product fields” instead of just “attributes”. That would be a bit of a pain from the data entry point of view, but it would let me create exactly the kind of mid-length format this plug-in promises.

    4. Alright, I see your point and thanks for the suggestions. We will consider them and assess if they can be added in a future update! 😉
